TERMS OF PARTICIPATION條款及細則:
It is the responsibility of the client to consult with a medical professional prior to and regarding participation in the training/service. I understand that it is the client’s responsibility to determine whether he/she can practice any yoga postures and participate at his/her own risk.
Where relevant, client to share crucial information such as medical reports, letters, evaluations by teachers, doctors and/or therapists with the instructor(s) to help determine the appropriate approach.
Client agrees to go at his/her own pace and avoid physical strain. All clients/students are free to skip any posture or end any posture early. Client will not hold the instructor(s) responsible for any injury during or arising from participation in the training/service.
Client agrees to exercise reasonable and sensible caution for his/her own wellbeing while practising yoga under any circumstances, whether inside or at an exterior location. Client is responsible for his/her own personal property.
Client agrees to pay the appropriate fees on time regarding participation.
arrangements during typhoon or black rain storm
When a Typhoon 8 or Black Rain Storm weather warning is hoisted during non-working hours (ie., overnight or early morning), all in-person sessions will be cancelled for the rest of the day.
If a session is cancelled due to bad weather, the trainer/teacher of the session will reach out to students to determine the feasibility of continuing the class online or postponing the lesson to a later date. The decision of whether to go online or postpone will rest with the majority.
In the event that a T8 or Black Rain Storm warming is hoisted during a training day / session, the session will be cancelled immediately allowing time for students to return home safely. The session will be postponed to a later date.
Studios will not reopen for half-day sessions.
COVID-19 Safety Measures & Procedures
The safety of our clients are top priority. We will follow Hong Kong’s Centre for Health Protection’s guidelines in maintaining social distancing to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
If restrictions prevent trainings/workshops to happen in-person, the sessions will move automatically online via Live cast of the class so students can participate via a computer or telephone screen. The trainers and teachers will provide you with the log-in details accordingly.
As required by the health authorities, participants may be required to sign a mandatory health declaration prior to any attendance in person, produce a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). have their temperature checked, wear a face mask and frequently wash hands.
If any teacher/staff/participant shows any sign of illness, we will instruct them to stay home and self-isolate.
If you have travelled outside of Hong Kong very recently, please refrain from attending any in-person sessions for three days.
If you or a close contact has Covid-19, please postpone attending any sessions in person for two weeks or until cleared by RAT. As a precaution, we encourage you to stay home and self-isolate until you are cleared.
We will stay tuned to the developments of chp.gov.hk very closely and will keep you updated frequently.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that Hersha Yoga cancels training/service, client will receive full refund, minus HK$200 administration fee. However Hersha Yoga and any instructors, staff, sponsors, affiliates will not be responsible for refunding any travel, airline or hotel fees under any circumstances.
If client cancels one month or more before training/service start date, client will receive refund minus 15% processing fees. If client cancels less than two weeks before training/service, client will receive refund minus 30% for administrative purpose. The sum can be applied to a future training/service by Hersha Yoga within one year of cancellation. If not applied within on year, all monies paid shall be forfeited.
Barring a medical emergency, no refund will be issued to participants after the training/service begins. Hersha Yoga will retain the balance without interest and the sum can be applied to a future training/service provided by Hersha Yoga within one year. If not applied within one year, all monies paid shall be forfeited.
Waiver of Liability 免責聲明:
In further consideration of client being permitted to participate in the training/service, the Client knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waives any claim that the Client may have against Hersha Harilela Chellaram, Hersha Yoga, instructors, assisting staff, sponsors of event, affiliate organisations or sponsoring location for any injury or damages or death that may be sustained as a result of client’s participation in this program.
Client, his/her heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.
Photo Release 使用照片許可:
Client grants to Hersha Yoga, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of Client, and his/her property in connection with the above-identified subject. Client authorises the Hersha Yoga, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. In the case that Client is a minor, Client’s legal guardian agrees to the same.
Client agrees that the Hersha Yoga may use such photographs of Clients with or without Client’s name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. In the case that Client is a minor, Client’s legal guardian agrees to the same.

Please note that Hersha Yoga collects your personal information through your submission of training/service registration.
For Hersha Yoga to process client registration and provide information and services, Hersha Yoga will require you to provide your personal information to us. Hersha Yoga will use your personal information for registration, for provision of services and for marketing, promotional and membership purposes. Please note that failure to provide sufficient personal information as requested in the mandatory fields on the Registration Forms will render us unable to provide your requested services.
Personal information held by Hersha Yoga will be kept confidential but we may provide such data to our contractors or third-party service providers who process applications & orders and provide mailing services, marketing support & research activities on our behalf. To enable their execution of the above services, we will need to provide them with access to personal information on a minimum need-to-know basis. However we will impose the strictest requirements of security and confidentiality on their data handling. They will not be permitted to use the personal information for anything else other than providing the required services set out above.
Unless we have informed you beforehand and have obtained your authorisation, or are obliged to do so by law and regulatory authorities, we will not under any circumstances disclose your personal information.
According to Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right:
to check whether we hold personal data about you and to access such data;
to require us to correct inaccurate data 要求我們更正不準確的資料;
to ascertain our policies and practices in relation to personal data and the kind of personal data held by us. 查明我們有關個人資料的政策及實務以及我們持有的個人資料性質。
